One more week until The Hobbit hits theatres! :D To celebrate... here's something from the Silmarillion instead. LOL

Everyone else has already done a version of this, but I hadn't jumped on board yet, so... here 'tis.

Very beautiful and emotional work! One can really feel the wind and hear the sea while looking at this picture. I could stare at it for hours...

Thank you! :hug: It was actually harder to try and depict the softer gradations of the sea than some of the brighter, higher-contrast images, even though there seems to be less going on visually in this picture. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. :)

Hahaha! There are a few versions out there, but I didn't look too closely at them until after I'd finished this, since I didn't want to subconsciously copy anyone. :)

It looks great. The other versions are often showing his face. It's hard to find an artist depicting the face of a Son of Feanor according to my imagination and taste, that's why I think your version is the best :D
